Ok, I need help/suggestions on two things.

Help Part
1. Does anyone have any experience with typography and feel up to working out what font(s) will work best in the book.

2. I know I had some people offer to help with layouts, if you are still interested let me know ('cause I know things can change) or if you are newly interested, also let me know.

E-mail me with your experience and the program you'd use (because yes both things kinda matter ^^)

3. Does anyone know the most common way CGI is credited in art? Some of y'all said Photoshop, some said, Digital, etc etc, I'm wondering if there is a common usage in museums and such that we can use to help make things a little more uniform.


Suggestions Part
1. This is how I'm considering putting the artist info in the book:

I was thinking the artist’s name, media used, and the chapter title would go on the front.
And then, on the back, I’d put the letter to Jkr, and end with the artist’s name and also age and location if they included that optional information.

So, suggestions, thoughts, better ideas?

Hey guys, I was checking the art in Photoshop, and I noticed that some of the DPI's are not 350, in fact some are 72.

A 72 DPI isn't going to print well, it'll print either *really* tiny OR for those of you who set the right dimensions, but kept a72 DPI it pixelates into basically nothing you can recognize.

I'll be contacting those with problem art ASAP.

But, yeah before you send it to me make sure the DPI is AT LEAST 300.
350 is better, but at least 300. It can be higher, but lower is bad.

Please check things for errors, ESPECIALLY the Assignment list ;
I think I've finally got it correct, but it doesn't hurt to double check these things.

1. I've had several people request to join this community who I do not have listed as either having any chapter assigned to them already or requesting to have a chapter assigned.

1. If you received you art assignment before June 2008:
- your deadline for the finale picture(s) is 8/30
- you deadline to request an extension is 8/15
- the extension is until 9/30


2. If you received your art assignment June-August of 2008
- your deadline for the finale picture(s) is 10/30
- you deadline to request an extension is 9/15
- I've not picked an extension date but seriously ASAP, and only ask for one if you really really really can not make the 10/30 deadline.

1. After 8/15 DO NOT e-mail me the actual file of your artwork. Rather e-mail me the information in the submissions form and include a link where I can download the file. Crashing my inbox is bad ^__^

This is kinda big as I'm trying to make the Book dividers uniform. bearzattackme, if I do not get contact info from you, you'll loose that assignment, sozzles same deal, I'll pull you both from the dividers if I don't hear from you since the dividers are your 2nd assignment each I'm ok doing that. I can't have people working on something that needs coordination if I can't contact you -_-
